RESCHEDULING OF THE NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2021 DENTISTS LICENSURE EXAMINATION TO January 12, 13, & 14, 2022 (WRITTEN PHASE) AND January 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, & 11, 2022 (PRACTICAL PHASE) AND OPENING OF OTHER TESTING CENTERS ASIDE FROM THE PRC-NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION

Upon the recommendation and endorsement of the Council of Deans of the Philippine Association of Dental Colleges, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the November 28, 29, & 30, 2021 and December 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2021 DLE shall be rescheduled to January 12, 13, & 14, 2022 (Written Phase) and January 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11, 2022 (Practical Phase).

Further, the PRC Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo are designated as additional testing centers in the January 2022 DLE to cater the number of examinees which the PRC-NCR can no longer accommodate due to limitations in the venue, materials, and facilities.

"Due to government imposed restrictions and other unforeseeable circumstances because of extended community quarantines, and to ensure the health and safety of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) examinees, Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and examination personnel, the conduct of the following scheduled October to December 2020 licensure examinations is hereby POSTPONED:

• Dental Hygienists Licensure Examination – Written (November 24, 2020)
• Dental Hygienists Licensure Examination – Practical (November 25, 2020)
• Dentists Licensure Examination – Written (December 2 – 4, 2020)
• Dentists Licensure Examination – Practical (December 15 – 22, 2020)
• Dental Technologists Licensure Examination – Written (December 7, 2020)
• Dental Technologists Licensure Examination – Practical (December 8 – 9, 2020)

The said licensure examinations will be rescheduled in 2021. Examinees are advised to check the PRC official website and social media accounts for important updates.

Following the cancellation/postponement of the March-June 2020 licensure examinations due to the imposition of Enhanced Community Quarantine in almost all areas of the country, the public is informed of the new schedule of postponed March-June 2020 licensure examinations, as determined by the PRC through its Resolution No. 1237 (s.2020), as follows (prc.gov.ph):

December 2019 Dentist Licensure Examination results released in two (2) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 540 out of 1,549  passed the December 2019 Dentist Licensure Examination (Written Phase) and 541 out of 687 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Practical Phase) given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila this December 2019.

The members of the Board of Dentistry who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Maria Jona D. Godoy, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Roberto M. Tajonera, Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Rodolfo R. Drapete and Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

From January 13 to January 15, 2020, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to http://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized hutpictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 890 out of 1,591  passed the November 2018 Dentist Licensure Examination (Written Phase) and 786 out of 905 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Practical Phase) given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila thisDecember 2018.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 762 out of 1,484 passed the December 2017 Dentist Licensure Examination (Written Phase) and 763 out of 769 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Practical Phase) given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila this January 2018.

The members of the Board of Dentistry who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Roberto M. Tajonera, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Rannier F. Reyes, Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag and Dr. Maria Jona D. Godoy, Members.
