DLE May 2026 Results Highlight Excellence of Philippine Dental Schools

Multiple Institutions Achieve 100% Passing Rates and Secure Spots in Top 10

The results of the May 2026 Dentist Licensure Examination (DLE) showcased the continued excellence of several Philippine dental schools, with multiple institutions achieving outstanding passing percentages and producing topnotchers in the national board examinations.

Among the standout performers was Adventist University of the Philippines, which achieved a remarkable 100% passing rate (9 out of 9 examinees) and secured the Top 1 spot in the examination through Nicole Pastor Joaquin, who garnered a rating of 90.57%.

University of the Philippines Manila also demonstrated exceptional performance with a 100% passing rate (18 out of 18 examinees). The institution produced three topnotchers, namely:

  • Jessica Via Legaspi Sta. Maria – Rank #2 (90.27%)
  • Quayne Pauline Privado Siscar – Rank #5 (89.50%)
  • Melanie Joy Daligcon Torio – Rank #7 (89.17%)

This achievement further solidifies the university’s reputation as one of the country’s premier institutions for dental education and training.

Meanwhile, Cebu Doctors University likewise attained a 100% passing rate (17 out of 17 examinees) and produced two top-performing graduates:

  • Shanti Marrion Go Nicolas – Rank #3 (89.93%)
  • Christine Kyle Lopez Sumangil – Rank #9 (89.06%)

In Metro Manila, University of the East Manila posted an impressive 100% passing rate (56 out of 56 examinees), with Elen Kiana Tandingan Morados placing 4th nationwide with a score of 89.90%.

Southwestern University also emerged as one of the top-performing schools, registering a 98.18% passing rate (54 out of 55 examinees). The university’s representative in the Top 10 was Mauriz Babes Teves Taytayan, who ranked 6th with a score of 89.30%.

Two campuses of Centro Escolar University also made significant marks in the examination results.

  • Centro Escolar University Makati achieved a 100% passing rate (24 out of 24 examinees) and produced Alaries Tubar Tinio, who ranked 8th with a rating of 89.14%.
  • Centro Escolar University Manila recorded a 94.07% passing rate (127 out of 135 examinees), with Ryan Angelo Labog Gonzales securing the 10th spot nationwide with a score of 89.03%.

Overall, the May 2026 DLE posted a strong national performance, with 796 out of 896 examinees passing, resulting in an overall passing rate of 88.84%.

The strong showing of these institutions reflects the growing quality of dental education in the Philippines, highlighting rigorous academic preparation, clinical competency training, and institutional commitment to excellence in oral healthcare education.

MAY 2026 DENTIST LICENSURE EXAMINATION RESULTS

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reported that 796 examinees successfully passed the May 2026 Dentists Licensure Examination out of 896 takers. The examination was administered by the Board of Dentistry in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.

The licensure examination was supervised by the members of the Board of Dentistry, headed by Dr. Merlin A. Go, together with Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, Dr. Ellis James B. Ranada, Dr. Irene Grace A. Porter, and Dr. Ma. Jocelyn Genevieve L. Tan.

According to the PRC, the examination results were released four working days following the final day of the exams.

Beginning July 8, 2026, successful examinees may complete the registration process online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (PRC ID) and Certificate of Registration. Applicants are advised to access the official PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph and follow the registration procedures provided. Registrants must prepare the following requirements:

  1. Screenshot of the system-generated Registration Form
  2. One valid government-issued identification card

All successful examinees are required to appear personally for registration and to sign the official Roster of Registered Professionals.

Meanwhile, the schedule and venue for the oath-taking ceremony will be announced at a later date.

May 2025 Licensure Examination for Dentists Results

Results of the May 2025 Dentist Licensure Examination Released Within Three (3) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially announced that 764 out of 969 candidates successfully passed the May 2025 Licensure Examination for Dentists conducted by the Board of Dentistry across testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.

The examination was administered by the Board of Dentistry composed of Dr. Merlin A. Go (Chairperson), along with members Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, and Dr. Ellis James B. Ranada.

The results were released just three (3) working days following the conclusion of the examination period.

Beginning July 16, 2025, successful examinees may register online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. To complete the registration, visit www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions provided for initial registration. 

Those who will register are required to bring the following: 

  1. downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 
  2. (2) pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 
  3. (2) sets of documentary stamps and 
  4. (1) piece short brown envelope. 

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The schedule and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new dentists will be announced at a later date.

Results of May 2025 Dental Hygienists Computer-Based Licensure Examination Released Within One (1) Working Day

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 61 out of 73 examinees successfully passed the Dental Hygienists Computer-Based Licensure Examination conducted by the Board of Dentistry in the National Capital Region (NCR) in May 2025.

The examination was administered by the following members of the Board of Dentistry: Dr. Merlin A. Go (Chairman), Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, and Dr. Ellis James B. Ranada.

The results were officially released just one (1) working day after the conclusion of the examination.

Online registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will begin on July 14, 2025. To register, visit www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions for initial registration. Applicants are required to personally appear and bring the following: a printed and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only), two (2) passport-sized photographs (colored with white background and complete name tag), two (2) sets of documentary stamps, and one (1) short brown envelope. Successful candidates must personally sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The face-to-face mass oathtaking of the new Dentists and Dental Technologists will be held on January 16, 2025, 9:00 A.M. at the Reception Hall, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking shall register not later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance.

Inductees are required to PRINT the Oath Form with their own generated QR. This will be submitted during the oathtaking to be tagged as "attended".

Those who cannot attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request a special oathtaking. Online Oathtaking announcements will be posted once the schedule is confirmed.

After the oathtaking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

Please note that registration on LERIS does not guarantee a reserve slot for the oathtaking until a ticket is secured. Seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
