RESCHEDULING OF THE NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2021 DENTISTS LICENSURE EXAMINATION TO January 12, 13, & 14, 2022 (WRITTEN PHASE) AND January 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, & 11, 2022 (PRACTICAL PHASE) AND OPENING OF OTHER TESTING CENTERS ASIDE FROM THE PRC-NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION
Upon the recommendation and endorsement of the Council of Deans of the Philippine Association of Dental Colleges, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the November 28, 29, & 30, 2021 and December 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2021 DLE shall be rescheduled to January 12, 13, & 14, 2022 (Written Phase) and January 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11, 2022 (Practical Phase).
Further, the PRC Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo are designated as additional testing centers in the January 2022 DLE to cater the number of examinees which the PRC-NCR can no longer accommodate due to limitations in the venue, materials, and facilities.

Continuing Professional Development Accreditation System ( CPDAS ) was implemented on October 30 , 2020 with the aim of streamlining all the CPD – related compliance of the Professionals and to efficiently process applications .
In view thereof , Dental Professionals are encouraged to create CPDAS account per specific profession by registering through this link : bit.ly/cpdas_professionalregistration and by providing personal information including the active e – mail address which will serve as the username in accessing the system after successful registration .

Dental Professionals may view all the attended accredited CPD programs through their respective dashboards after successful attendance sheets uploading of the CPD Provider .

LEARNING MODULE
Learn how:
1. To use the facebow system in properly orienting the casts on the articulator before mounting.
2. To properly mount both casts on the articulator using the Occlusion rims thru the recorded Centric Relation
3. To program the Condylar Guidance of the Articulator and its importance in the set-up of the denture teeth.
4. Learn how to program the Incisal Guidance of the Articulator and its importance in the set-up of the denture teeth.

UPDATING THE PRACTICAL EXERCISE IN THE PRACTICAL PHASE OF THE LICENSURE EXAMINATION OF DENTISTRY AND PRESCRIBING GUIDELINES THEREFOR
Mounting of Master Casts *** For examinees using a Semi Adjustable Articulator , kindly set the Condylar Guidance angulations to 30 degrees and Bennett Angles to 15 degrees as applicable on the type of SAA being used .
12. Seal adjusted record bases with occlusion rims on the detached master casts .
13. Mount the casts in your own articulator
Setting of the Artificial Teeth
Demonstrate rationale for tooth selection
Determine the need to recontour and modify selected teeth to achieve desired results
Consider functional and biological factors in setting artificial teeth
*** For examinees using a Semi Adjustable Articulator , create a Fully Bilateral Balanced Scheme of Occlusion - Bonus points 10%
14. Proceed to setting of the artificial teeth .
Gingival Wax - up / Festooning
Simulate the natural characteristics of the tissue around the teeth in the wax denture
15. Perform Gingival Wax - up / Festooning .
16. Transfer wax dentures on the Articulator with Mounted Casts representing the patient .
*** Make sure wax dentures are unsealed from the master casts before passing.
Submit the following :
1. Diagnostic casts
2. Individual trays
3. Articulator with pre - mounted master casts
4. The examinees own mounted master casts with the trial wax dentures
